Norwegian delegation

At the CEE Dropie we are preparing a collaborative project with our Norwegian partners, the Bjerknes Climate Research Centre and the City of Trondheim, which will be developed under the name Climate Change Living Lab in CEE Dropie.

On the 14th of May we were visited by the Norwegian Ambassador Mr. T. Theodor Nervill along with representatives from the Norwegian Environment Agency, the Directorate for Water Resources and Energy, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic and the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the collaborative project Climate Change Living Lab in CEE Dropie, which would transform the hostel, grounds and programmes of the CEE Dropie into a progressive Living Lab with the main theme of adaptation and mitigation measures to climate change.

Participating representatives looked with great interest at the premises of the CEE Dropie, had the opportunity to practically experience and see the daily activities in the centre and evaluate the possibilities of development of the environmental centre.
