Support CEE Dropie in the European competition with your vote!

The garden at Centre of Environmental education (CEE) Dropie, called Living Lab Dropie for Climate Education, recently advanced to the top 12 projects in the competition for the European Award for Ecological Gardening 2025 in category 2 Biodiversity and Climate Change Adaptation Measures in Gardens and Public Green Spaces.

In addition to the expert evaluation of the nominated projects, the public can also participate in the online voting for individual projects. The projects from the online voting with the highest number of votes will receive the Public Award. Every vote counts! Voting ends on October 16, 2025 at 12:00 a.m.

You can find our garden project in category 2 Biodiversity and Climate Change Adaptation in Gardens and Green Spaces under the name Living Lab Dropie for Climate Education. After entering your email address, you will receive a link by email and you will have to click to confirm your vote. Furthermore, there are 2 other Slovak garden projects in the competition, that you can support with your vote.

The Environmental Education Center of the Slovak Environmental Agency Dropie received a certificate of Natural Sample Garden in 2016. We are continuing to develop and build our natural garden full of life, a green oasis for animals, plants, and humans.

Thanks to the project Center for Climate Change and Environmental Education (Living Lab) Dropie, green roofs and walls, perennial flower beds for pollinators, a biological wastewater treatment plant, permeable walkways and rain gardens have been completed on the site. The Natural Sample Garden with implemented adaptation measures provides a stimulating and inspiring environment for climate education and a wealth of experiences for young and old. That is why we have entered our garden into the prestigious competition for the European Award for Ecological Gardening 2025 and we are also applying for your support.
